The nature of our business means that we work in a wide variety of environments, whether that’s within an office space, from out of our vehicles, on a gantry adjacent to the motorway, or by the side of the road. In many instances, we work alongside or in the vicinity of other people outside of our company.
Our customers, suppliers, contractors and the general public all therefore expect us to operate exacting levels of health and safety standards at all times. Accordingly, every job begins with a dynamic assessment of the associated risks, and results in our instigating appropriate controls thus safeguarding everyone involved. We are committed to a zero harm culture; in other words to be accident and injury free. By adopting this as our culture, Health & Safety is ingrained in to our very essence and everyone becomes accountable. Each person within the company goes through various levels of training, according to their job and responsibilities.
It is the responsibility of every individual to report near misses and raise any health and safety concerns. Understanding trends and seeing patterns is integral to achieving zero harm as only by identifying these can we further influence behaviours and adopt excellent safety habits.
In addition to our team of qualified QHSE (Quality, Health, Safetey, Environment) professionals, each Dynniq location has an elected Representative of Employee Safety (RoES). The duties of the RoES is to represent their colleagues, to help develop practical solution to health and safety issues, investigate incidents and assist in inspections and risk assessments.
